FAQ

Why do I need a Mac?

Most blockers use Apple's Screen Time, which anyone can switch off in Settings. Toggle sets your iPhone up as a managed device instead, and Apple only allows that from a computer. You need a Mac with Apple silicon, a USB data cable and space for the automatic encrypted recovery backup. Windows is coming later.

Can I end a Block early?

No. Timed Blocks and schedules are designed not to end early, and there's no button in Toggle that ends one. If something goes wrong, follow the app’s device checks and recovery instructions. Recovery can require a full restore.

Does setup erase my iPhone?

Backup setup uses a limited restore. Keep a full encrypted backup: if something fails, recovery can require a full restore.

What if I find a way around it?

If you find a workaround, we'll refund you in full. Toggle is impossible to bypass. Email support@toggleblocker.com with how you did it. Erasing your iPhone doesn't count.

How do I cancel?

Cancel anytime in your account. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
